Celebrations | Batemans Bay Photographer

Photographs are such a special thing. They capture moments in our lives that our memories may not. I will be writing about the importance of them later on the blog but for now, it was made so perfectly clear to me just how special they can be. Not only for ourselves but to anyone that may be or may have been a part of our lives.

I was so excited to be asked by Nikki and Glen to capture images of Joan at her 80th birthday party. What a truely special celebration to be a part of.

I could tell immediately just how special Joan is to so many people, she has nutured and loved a beautiful family and clearly had many friends to help her welcome in a new decade. It was an honor to be able to capture another moment in her life to add to many wonderful memories.

I hope I have captured just what a lovely lady Joan is.

Cards are like photographs, not pictures of moments but words that capture our feelings and love. Joan recieved some really lovely cards including one that contained a photograph of her from her youth. What could be more special?

Joans wonderful family put together a slideshow of photographs from throughout her life.

Of course where there is a projector and children, there is fun to be had!
