I've been whinging a bit about the weather lately, rained out weddings and cancelled portrait sessions but the day we were given on Saturday for Sabina and Shaun's wedding was absolutely divine and there was no complaining that day!

Sabina and Shaun were married at the beautiful Murramarang Resort at Durras, on the headland, overlooking the ocean and those brilliant blue skies, followed by a reception at the Flatrock Brasserie at the Resort.

I have met a fair few wedding planners in my time but I have to say I am most impressed with Melinda and Paul's....you see, its their gorgeous 9 year old son Ben who planned this intimate wedding... all of it, every little detail and it went without a hitch, it was perfect!

Set on the beautiful headlands of Tuross, they shared their day with their family, beautifully private and so special, it was followed by some family photos and then a celebration dinner at The Pickled Octopus.

Well done Ben and congratulations to Melinda and Paul, on both their wedding and their amazing little family. You should be very proud!

Weddings are such a great time, not only for the couple involved but for families. In Catherine and Dean's case, their wedding has bought together their families from all over the world! They have spent the past few weeks with people who they haven't seen in a long time so they know just how special the occasion is.

Catherine is Australian and despite travelling Ireland for a long time, didn't stumble upon Dean, who is Irish through and through until she came back here!
I love those amazing little twists of fate! And so it was, a prefect match....

They were married on Saturday, on a perfect day at St Bernard's church in front of the hilarious Father Tom.
The day was amazing and it was an honor to be included...and listen to all those Irish accents!
