We have all seen a little rain on the occasional wedding day, maybe an afternoon storm or some showers....but I have to admit, never before have I seen rain like what Mother Nature sent on Annie and Shaun's wedding day! It was torrential, it just did.not.stop! In fact, I admit to having a moment of slight worry that I would even make it to Canberra without hitting flooded or closed roads!

But, Annie and Shaun took it all in their stride and certainly were not going to let a bit of water ruin their day! It was amazing, it went without a hitch! It was perfect in every way and in the end, we got some amazing, dramatic shots from our undercover locations.

So, thank you all for trusting me to choose the best places for us to go and stay dry and for including us in the day, it was so much fun!

I put so much thought into what I should write for each couple's post. I have seen my fair share of weddings but I find myself wrapped up in each couples day, still find myself smiling at small moments, get teary too often, get wound up in the chaos. I am so touched by people's speeches, by the love they share, by relationships and try to share a piece of that with you on the blog.
Today, I was moved by the incredible bond this beautiful family have. Martina and Craig are loved, so dearly, by so many people and to be surrounded by so many people who really care for you is just so special.
The beautiful children that grace Martina and Craig's home are some of the most divine little people I have met and it's a credit to them both and to the strength and love their families have.
What an honor it is to just be present on such an amazing day. I am forever grateful for the incredible job I have.
