a long time coming | Canberra Photographer
The last time my husband and I had photos taken together was almost three years ago at our wedding!
I have to admit that I am one of the worst people when it comes to our own family photos, although now I do have some planned but not booked!
So when Colin suggested I do our photos myself I figured we might as well try.
We had some spare time in Canberra over the weekend and would go to stromlo to try to capture them ourselves. Armed with a tripod and remote we made the drive up the mountain to find the amazing old, burned buildings and we were both instantly inspired!
What followed was a fun hour or so, we laughed at how stupid we looked, running back and forth to check images on the camera, trying to pose when you dont know how it looks but in the end we came back down with heaps of really great shots that we are now both so thankful for!
I have always been the first person to explain the importance of family photographs to others but only now do I realise just how valuable they are. We love these and will now take time to do more, next time including our sons!
So now its my turn to be blogged, this time its me on the other side of the camera and while it feels a little self indulgent to post these, we love them and want to share them with you all!
The funny thing is that the last person to take our photographs was the Amazing Steven Murray and of all the people we could have run into on that day, we bumped into him!
