Introducing the team!
Most photographers reach a point where they need a steady assistant. Yes, its easy to find people that want to learn and offer their services but to have the same helper at every job is priceless. They know you, they way you work, your style and can work with you to produce images that are true to your business.
An assistant can get those extra shots behind you, hold flashes, lights, flowers, ladders and reflectors. They can be there holding a lens when you need to change it, can grab the battery from the bag across the room so you dont miss any of the action. They are really quite handy.
Where on earth do you find someone like that? Someone you can boss around a little, someone who knows your next move with having to speak about it, someone you know you can trust to put in the 150% that you do, who loves your clients as much as you...someone who really cares?
Well, I found that person pretty close to home and I happen to think its fab!
So on that note, I want to officially introduce Colin to the team. Colin who? Colin Dopson. Yup, ok its my husband but don't let that fool you, he has been a hobby photographer for a long time, has been personally trained in everything photo related by me and I'm proud to say he is pretty darn good at what he does.
He gets as excited at a good shot as I do, is full of ideas, is inspired and eager....plus he holds a flash at a really good height! lol.
So, I happily welcome Colin to the team and look forward to continuing to work towards giving you all the absolute best service and images that we can!
Oh P.S we made it to the finals for the Batemans Bay Business Awards! {yay}

Was wondering when you'd introduce him. Love his bag :)
He won that bag in a photography competition. All on his own! Told you he wasn't too bad! lol
And is Colin camera shy Bianca? Lol! C'mon...we want to see the face of your new sidekick!
Well done on an excellent choice!
