Alicia & Brendan | Hunter Valley, NSW
I have never been to the Hunter Valley, incredibly as a wine lover, its just something that to this point I have missed out on.
That all changed this weekend when I had the absolute honour of visiting the vine covered paddocks that make up this stunning part of our country and what an amazing trip it was, but this wasn't a holiday, no I was there to photograph Alicia and Brendans wedding!
As a photographer, it is a great privilege to be asked to travel interstate to capture a couples special day, so when Alicia's beautifully generous sister Karoline contacted me to ask if I would be a part of their day I was more than excited. Add to that the fact it was in a dream location and it made it even more special.
So a Friday wedding it was, with a little wind and fabulously moody skies the day went without a hitch and without a single drop of rain!
The day started early for Brendan...and for us with a round of golf. Surely it is lucky to find a rainbow waiting for you on your wedding day.

Alicia and Brendan arrived at the church together and walked down the aisle together. It was really beautiful.
Driving past Hope Estate I noticed they had a 'great cask hall' ... a phone call later and the wonderful Michelle had agreed to let us use the room for some photos. We couldn't have a Hunter wedding and not include something wine related, could we?

It was hard not to be inspired by the surroundings, what a fabulous choice of location...

had to share this little piece of fabulosity!

Thank you for having us share in your very special day! And not forgetting the wonderfully kind hearted Karoline for piecing everything together and for your endless generosity!
Hope you love them so far.....
