Its a great day for a wedding | Lauren & Lachlan

I was sure it would rain on Saturday. All day Friday it rained and it was still raining well into the night. I was more than aware of the big drops falling on my tin roof! On my list of things to do on Saturday morning before heading to Lachlan for his preparation shots was to buy two big umbrella's.

To my delight I woke on Saturday morning to the most glorious sun rise, a couple of fluffy white clouds lingered on the horizon and a familiar mugginess hung in the air.

Its a great day for a beach wedding.

These guys are fabulous, Lachlan takes nothing seriously and is full of jokes and laughs. The centre of attention, he had me laughing through their sweetheart session so I was not surprised to find him relaxed and having a great old time before their wedding.



Laruen looked stunning! Almost ready when we arrived she was calm and excited. The mood with the girls was relaxed and ready, it was fabulous!




The day was flawless, the clouds still fluffy and high in the sky, warm like a summer day, it was perfect.





Now, as far as wedding's go, its not often the guests laugh through the more serious moments, but it was guaranteed with Lachlan around that serious moments needent exist. I don't think I have ever laughed so much at a wedding!


True to their style, these guys didn't miss an opportunity to lighten the day. They had two of these, flapping about out the front of a fabulous marquee.
Their guests were treated to an amazing bush set reception. The sun slowly falling into the clouds, the night went on perfectly, full of laughter and smiles.



Thank you to Lauren and Lach for a fabulous day, you can hardly call it work when you get to spend the day with amazing people on one of the biggest days of their lives.
