I feel a wedding coming on | Bianca Dopson Sweethearts
When I was young my mother used to tell me not to be mean to my sister as one day she would grow to be my best friend. No way!
Well, she was right... as usual!
This is my beautiful, amazing sister... ok and best friend in the world! It's amazing that as you grow and go through similar experiences you grow together and can share something that it is so very hard to find anywhere else.
I am grateful every day for her.
Given that, you can imagine how excited we were when she met an equally fabulous guy. These two are meant to be together, they are so alike in every way.
We used to laugh as kids when you saw couples who 'matched'. You know the ones, they are like a boy and girl version of the same soul. Sometimes they look alike, sometimes they don't. That's these two.
I know her well enough to know she will hate this photo. But I love it and I know he will love it more.
Now, given all that, you can imagine how excited we were when he proposed to her... on a plane! eeeeek, excited wasn't the word!
They are going to have the coolest wedding! Its going to kill me not to photograph it! But I can't work on the one wedding day I have looked forward to since I was young...apart from my own of course!

My mum used to say that too, I have 2 sisters and one of them was a real black sheep of the family and we never ever got along. Since having our own kids things have done a complete 360 and its so much fun catching up! Your sister is beautiful. And you have captured some gorgeous shots of them together.
These are stunning, and so is your sister!
I'm glad the two of you eventually became friends :)
