Down memory lane

My husband grew up in a suburb where everyone knew everyone. Everyones mums knew the children and who they belonged to and it was one big tight knit community. Riding till late during day light savings, his mum would whistle and him and his brother and sister would come from all directions. He tells me the most fantastic stories of things they got up to and adventures they had.
Because of that, friends he had when he was a boy are still his friends now, he still knows their families but now they all have families of their own.
It amazes me how close they all still are, they talk and remember all the things they used to do and talk about people they knew and places they went.
Friends come and go in and out of our lives but there seem to be a few who we are truly meant to know.
Those friends that are in every story from our childhood, there isn't an important time in our lives when they aren't there. This is one of those friends.
Knowing this it was such an honour for me to have the chance to photograph him and his amazing family and I have to say I do have a soft spot for children, but these two boys captured my heart. The most beautiful personalities in the world made my job on Saturday just so easy!

Thank you for sharing the day with us and thank you for being one of those one of a kind friends.
Hope you like your sneak peek!
